Fall is a special time at Shaw Orchards. Not only is apple season in full swing, but the farm market comes alive with apples, pumpkins, goards, mums, our famous cider, and all the beauty of the country in Autumn!
Weekends are especially fun! Every Saturday in October from 10am-4pm, we offer hayrides through our orchards to our pumpkin patch. Your kids will make some great memories searching out picking that perfect pumpkin! Then browse our farm market for fall decorations, and a basket of the best pears you'll find anywhere. The hayride is just $6 each, with a pumpkin included.
Pick your own apples provide wholesome family fun on Friday and Saturdays in September and October. Our apples are easy to pick from the ground, and we save some of the best varieties for our pick your own customers. Thanks to all the cool dry weather of recent weeks, the apples have great color and flavor - and the picking is easy. 10/21/07: Apple picking is over for the year.
