Grapes |
We have a fresh new vineyard that provides great table grapes from late August through September. Those familiar with the old favorite, Concorde, will find our purple seedless variety (below left) even more irresistable. We are also very proud of a new red seedless variety (below right).
Remember that grapes are very delicate. Our freshly cut bunches will hold well in your refrigerator, but remember to keep them sealed to prevent drying.
For a special treat, try drying them to make raisins. This can be done between layers of tautly formed plastic screen and cheesecloth in a very low temperature oven, or in the hot sun.
