RipeLine news as of 11/02/23

All the apples are now picked, and the pumpkin patches have been mowed. The 2023 harvest is complete! Our next pick your own opportunity will be 2024 strawberries.

But we still have lots of great things at the market. In fact, we have 15 varieties of apples in stock now, including Fuji, Evercrisp, Autumn Blush, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Holiday, Stayman Winesap, Cameo, York, Nittany, Pink Lady, Mutsu/Crispin, Rome, and Jonagold. Wow! Holiday and Jonagold are probably in their final week of availability.

We still have a nice selection of decorative and baking pumpkins. If you don’t see what you are looking for, just ask one of our associates and they’ll help you find just the right pumpkin. Our face/carving pumpkins have been reduced to just $1.00 per pumpkin (all sizes).

Baked goods for the weekend have arrived, and we are now taking orders for the Thanksgiving holiday. Cider and donuts will also be in good supply this weekend.

Vegetables this weekend include our own butternut and spaghetti squash (can we call them a vegetable?), local green beans, lettuce, and sweet potatoes.

If by chance your thoughts have turned to the holidays, keep in mind all of our lovely local food and gift items including local honey, coffee, nut butter, baking mixes, candles, soaps and more!
